Cranbourne Gardens | Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria This booking form is for those wanting to book both Boon Wurrung Cafe (morning tea & lunch) and The Explorer bus tour. If you do not wish to book The Explorer bus tour but would like to join the morning tea & lunch bookings, please email info@wnh.org.au with your details. Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne offers a natural bushland experience alongside the Australian Garden, an award-winning, contemporary botanic garden celebrating the beauty and diversity of Australian landscapes and flora and featuring over 100,000 plants from 1,900 plant varieties.  The bushland has over 450 indigenous plant species and includes over 10km of walking tracks, six kilometres of cycling tracks, a lookout tower, picturesque shelters, barbecues and playgrounds. It is a precious remnant of the vegetation that once covered the broader region and is actively managed to control the number of non-indigenous plants and exotic weeds. Transport: 9.15am gather at WNH carpark for 9.30am departure Carpooling from WNH to Cranbourne Gardens, Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, Ballarto Road and Botanic Drive, Cranbourne The road between Cranbourne Gardens and South Gippsland Highway, Ballarto Road east, is currently under roadworks. Detours are in place to the Gardens entrance. Entry through Ballarto Road west is from Cranbourne-Frankston Road at the intersection including Pearcedale Road. Morning Tea: 10.45am Boon Wurrung Cafe (at Cranbourne Gardens), at own expense The Explorer Bus: 11.45am 30 minute duration, $12 concession, maximum 22 people The Explorer bus tour - discover the iconic Australian landscape and enjoy live commentary in the comfort of an open-air electric bus. From the Red Sand Garden, journey through the themed display gardens ending with the Eucalypt Walk, featuring only Australian plants. If you would like to join the group for morning tea and lunch, however would like to explore the gardens independently during the 30 minute bus tour, you are very welcome to do so. Let the House know via email (info@wnh.org.au) that you would like to join morning tea and lunch bookings, however not The Explorer bus.  Lunch: 12.45pm Boon Wurrung Cafe (at Cranbourne Gardens), at own expense Please note that all registrations for both the Boon Wurrung Cafe and The Explorer bus must be registered with the House to ensure you are included in the group bookings.
